Important Notice

  • Cluster Area Requirements (CAR) subjects with Chinese Reading/Writing (CR/CW) requirement are designed for Degree students to fulfill their graduation requirements. Students of Higher Diploma (HD) programmes, who wish to enroll on these subjects, are welcome to register them during the last two days of the Add/Drop Period, if study places are available.
  • You should check if the subject group is offered to your Programme in the block 'Subject Group Details'.
  • For subject group with group type 'PS'
    • During the subject registration and add/drop periods, the subject group is available for students of specified programme(s) only.
    • During the last two days of the add/drop period, the subject group will be opened to all students of full-time programmes for registration, subject to the availability of vacancies, regardless of their curriculum requirement.
  • For subject group with group type 'Restricted PS'
    • During the subject registration and add/drop periods, the subject group is available for students of specified programme(s) only.
  • For subject group with group type 'University Wide'
    • During the subject registration and add/drop periods, the subject group is available to all students (except RPg students) who are required to take the subject in their curriculum.
    • During the last two days of the add/drop period, the subject group will be opened to all students of full-time programmes for registration, subject to the availability of vacancies, regardless of their curriculum requirement.
  • For subject group with group type 'University Wide - Ug'
    • During the subject registration and add/drop periods, the subject group is available to Undergraduate Degree students who are required to take the subject in their curriculum.
    • During the last two days of the add/drop period, the subject group will be opened to all students of full-time programmes for registration, subject to the availability of vacancies, regardless of their curriculum requirement.
  • For subject group with group type 'University Wide - RPg'
    • During the subject registration and add/drop periods, the subject group is available to all RPg students who are required to take the subject in their curriculum.
